Primary Responsibilities:

The receptionist plays a vital role in Covenant Clinics not only as the patient's first impression (in person and on the phone) thus determining our volume and influencing our online reviews, you monitor comfort and security of the facility, and ultimately you determine if and how much you get paid by consistently collecting co-pays, credit card on file, and entering correct demographic information for clean health insurance claims.

Duties:

  • Be the face of Covenant Clinics: Greet patients warmly in person and over the phone, making them feel comfortable and welcome.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment: Monitor the clinic facilities and take steps to maintain patient and staff safety.
  • Maximize clinic revenue: Collect co-pays, manage credit card information on file, and ensure accurate demographic data entry for clean health insurance claims. Your performance directly impacts your compensation!
  • Contribute to positive online reviews: Your positive and helpful interactions play a key role in shaping patient satisfaction and influencing our online reputation.
  • Additional duties may include: Scheduling appointments, answering phones, managing patient flow, and performing light administrative tasks.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Front office experience, including insurance and VOB knowledge.
  • Prior experience and training in exercise (a plus).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Proficient in phone etiquette
  • Previous experience in a clinical or medical setting is a plus
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Typing proficiency
  • Experience as a medical receptionist is advantageous
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Office administration experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
